As a democratic and member-led organization, the main work of EAGT is currently done by members who volunteer to serve in one of its permanent committees or working groups. Members are chosen to serve on committees at a General Meeting usually for a period of three years. Working Groups are more flexible and may be created by any member around some theme or current issue. The membership of working groups is usually determined by who puts themselves forward.
