The EAGT functions through 3 main bodies, which are:
- The Executive committee, consisting of 4 members: President, Treasurer, Secretary and External Relations/NOGTs Officer. One member is nominated to be Vice president. The Executive Committee is supported by the Office, led by the Office Manager.
- The General Board, consisting of the chairs of all committees and chambers, and two additional NOGT Chamber representatives, and the members of the Executive committee.
- The General Meeting of Members (which gathers at least once every year). GMM (re)-elects members and chairs of all EAGT committees every three years. They can be re-elected for two subsequent periods at most (with a maximum of 9 years).
