Erving Polster, one of the well-known founders of Gestalt therapy, passed away a few months ago at the age of 102. He was a soft-spoken giant and one of the greatest therapists of all times. Gestalt Therapy Integrated (written by Erving and Miriam Polster) has been of the utmost importance for the world to Gestalt therapy, to name just one of his legendary contributions.

Dear friends and family,
The Memorial Celebration for Erving Polster is Sunday June 2nd from 5-7 in the evening at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park at 2215 Pan American Road E, San Diego, CA 92101. Available Valet parking is in front of the Prado Restaurant which looks over the garden. There is also abundant parking in the Organ Pavilion parking lot located between President’s Way and Pan American East Road.
(Consider taking UBER or LIFT to avoid parking.)
Dressy attire is suggested to remember and honor Erv’s legacy.
For those of you from afar who are unable to attend, you are invited to watch Erving’s Memorial Celebration through ZOOM.
